This is new stuff for me I don’t know how to solve this word problem and my teacher was absent today so I didn’t have any clarification

This is new stuff for me I don’t know how to solve

we have that

The formula to calculate the circumference of a circle is equal to

C=2\pi r

Solve for r

That means

Isolate the variable r

so

Divide on both sides of the formula by 2pi

\frac{C}{2\pi}=\frac{2\pi r}{2\pi}

Simplify

r=\frac{C}{2\pi}

For

C=75.3 m

and

pi=3.14

substitute in the new formula

\begin{gathered} r=\frac{75.3}{2(3.14)} \\ r=12.0\text{ m} \end{gathered}
